Ansys Announces the Launch of Ansys Gateway powered by AWS

Ansys Gateway powered by AWS :

Ansys announced the launch of Ansys Gateway powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which enables users to access popular Ansys products in a single, customised workspace on AWS. This makes it easier for users to access engineering solutions that are quicker, more adaptable, and highly scalable. Customers can simply access, subscribe to, and configure Ansys apps from a single location with the help of Ansys Gateway powered by AWS, which is available in the AWS Marketplace. The faster performance of Ansys apps improved for AWS will also benefit customers.

As part of a plan to lower the cost of simulation software, Ansys Gateway powered by AWS offers on-demand access to Ansys applications and high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities on the cloud. Customers can take use of the scalable hardware and computation capacity on AWS while managing and controlling computer-aided design (CAD) / computer-aided engineering (CAE) cloud consumption and costs. With this solution, users of both Ansys applications and other well-known CAE/CAD programmes can seamlessly access the cloud. Customers may bring their own licences to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS and manage user access, permissions, data, and security with ease thanks to control over their hybrid architecture.

Customers can easily access Ansys apps instantly with the help of Ansys Gateway, powered by AWS. By paying for cloud resources only when they are really used, customers can cut expenses in addition to reducing time to market.

“We were surprised by how easy and seamless it is to switch from our internal cluster to the cloud with Ansys Gateway powered by AWS”, “We can quickly set up a workstation or cluster and select the best hardware. We can replace our hardware every day if we want, instead of replacing physical resources every four years. It’s fast and intuitive to switch back and forth from cluster to cloud as our needs change.”                                                                   Steve Collie, aerodynamics coordinator at Emirates Team New Zealand.

“Our goal at Ansys has always been to make simulation accessible to as many startups, students and businesses – large and small – as possible. Providing easy, affordable access to Ansys’ solutions makes greater innovation and efficiency possible for all of our customers”, “By working with AWS, we are able to allow broader access to HPC by bringing down the traditional hardware barriers that have limited innovation for many of our customers.”                                                                                                                                                                               Shane Emswiler, senior vice president of products at Ansys.

“Working together with the company, we are excited about the launch of Ansys Gateway powered by AWS”, “Now, customers can access and deploy Ansys’ portfolio through AWS, helping customers remove barriers to scale globally, perform more simulations, and innovate faster.”                                                                                                                                                                               Bill Vass, vice president of engineering at AWS.

Important Points

  • Developers, designers, and engineers may use Ansys Gateway powered by AWS to handle all of their CAD/CAE and Ansys simulation projects online.
  • Customers who are away from their workstation can access Ansys apps via a web browser thanks to the Ansys Gateway on-demand platform.
