Africa’s Workforce And Education Systems To Benefit From A Strategic Partnership Between Craft Silicon And MindHYVE.ai
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between MindHYVE.ai, Inc., a leader in agentic artificial intelligence (AGI), and Craft Silicon Ltd., a prominent global finance innovator with its headquarters located in Nairobi, to launch ArthurAITM, a next-generation autonomous learning platform, into African markets.
The collaboration comes at a pivotal time for the continent. According to the World Bank, more than 230 million jobs in Sub-Saharan Africa will require digital skills by 2030, yet less than 20% of workers currently receive formal training. Financial literacy also remains a challenge, with fewer than 40% of adults in East Africa considered financially literate, creating barriers to inclusion and resilience. By combining Craft Silicon’s strong presence in over 30 markets with MindHYVE.ai’s adaptive intelligence technology, the partnership aims to address these critical gaps by advancing digital skills, financial literacy, and inclusive workforce development.
At the heart of the initiative is a vision to upskill thousands of employees and customers each year through adaptive training programs in financial literacy, compliance, and digital onboarding. ArthurAI™ will be delivered in regional languages and designed for mobile-first environments, ensuring accessibility for Africa’s 495 million mobile internet users. Early pilots have demonstrated that ArthurAI™ can significantly increase training completion rates – reaching up to 80% compared to a regional average of 30% – while also reducing onboarding times for financial services clients by nearly half. Beyond immediate training outcomes, the platform will also drive innovation by embedding industry-specific modules, such as SME banking education and workforce skilling for ride-hailing sectors, directly into Craft Silicon’s ecosystem.
The initiative’s significance was underscored by Kamal Budhabhatti, CEO of Craft Silicon, who said: “Digitally skilled citizens are essential to Africa’s economic future.” By integrating learning into the same services people use on a daily basis, our partnership with MindHYVE.ai offers us the exceptional capacity to implement inclusive, intelligent education at scale.
Bill Faruki, the founder and CEO of MindHYVE.ai, emphasized the revolutionary potential of ArthurAITM, saying: “This is an agentic system that continuously adapts to each learner’s cognitive profile; it is not just another e-learning tool.” Comparing early pilots to standard models, they have demonstrated up to 80% faster idea comprehension and better memory. With Craft Silicon, we can bring this transformation to millions across Africa.”
The partnership will begin with a strategic implementation phase, embedding ArthurAI™ across Craft Silicon’s banking, training, and ride-hailing platforms. A joint steering committee will track measurable outcomes such as learner engagement, onboarding efficiency, and improvements in financial literacy. This foundation will pave the way for broader adoption across public-private initiatives, educational systems, and NGO collaborations.
