Digital Frontline at Scale: Innovapptive and AWS to set New Standards in Industrial Workflows
Innovapptive has entered a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver a next-generation Connected Worker Solution via the cloud, revolutionizing how people, processes, and technology intersect in plant maintenance. This partnership marks a major shift in the Connected Worker landscape, moving from task-level digitization to unified execution across operations, maintenance, safety, and inventory through a single digital platform.
Sundeep Ravande, CEO and Co-founder of Innovapptive, emphasized that customers today seek more than digital dashboards—they expect tangible outcomes such as improved EBITDA, faster workflows, and enhanced safety. “This agreement with AWS allows us to scale globally, deepen our technology stack, and co-create impactful solutions that eliminate inefficiencies and unlock frontline value,” he said.
This new phase builds on previous success between the two companies. Notably, they deployed a cloud-based Connected Worker Solution at a U.S. manufacturing site for Indorama Ventures, achieving over $12 million in EBITDA improvements. The implementation led to a 28% reduction in contractor workforce, overtime dropping from 24% to 9%, maintenance backlogs shrinking from 18 to 6 weeks, and inventory accuracy rising to 99.5%. Indorama now plans to scale the solution enterprise-wide, targeting $40 million in EBITDA improvements within a year.
Micah Mosley, Senior Maintenance Manager at Indorama Ventures in Port Neches, TX, praised the transformation: “Innovapptive has delivered significant results and partnered closely with us to rethink how frontline work is executed. Even our most experienced staff—some with over three decades here—have easily adopted the platform.”
AWS echoed the enthusiasm. Allison Johnson, Senior Manager of Technology Partners, noted, “Innovapptive stands out as a leader in modernizing frontline work. This strategic collaboration will allow us to scale secure, effective, and high-impact solutions that boost operational resilience and cost efficiency for global customers.”
Under the agreement, Innovapptive will collaborate with AWS’s sales and industry teams to engage Fortune 1000 enterprises in sectors such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, and natural resources. The partnership will also include joint go-to-market strategies, technical certifications, and a shared value scorecard to quantify impact across key metrics like contractor reduction, improved wrench time, permit efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
This initiative places Innovapptive at the forefront of transforming disconnected field operations into connected, data-driven excellence.
